Obituary for Stella H Zaniewski

Zaniewski, Stella Helen (Stawasz) 80 - of Linwood, passed away peacefully on March 15th at Shore Medical Center after a brief illness.
Stella was born in Elizabeth, NJ, and relocated with her family to Linwood in 1969, where she continued to raise her three children. She volunteered her time at Holy Spirit High School in the 1970s while her children were attending school there. An avid reader, she was a member of a local book club and a regular visitor to the Linwood Public Library. Her greatest joys were her four grandchildren and her cat Muffy.
She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Chester Zaniewski, and her brother William Stawasz of Schnecksville, PA. Stella is survived by her brother Terry Stawasz of Stuart, FL; her loving children, Chester Zaniewski, Jr. and his wife Karen of Egg Harbor Township, NJ; Dr. Richard Zaniewski and his wife Ellen of Boxford, MA; four grandchildren, Melanie, Jessica, Zachary and Benjamin.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 21 from 7PM to 9PM at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield, NJ. Funeral services will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel in Mays Landing, NJ on Saturday, March 22 at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cape-Atlantic C.A.T.S., 959 Asbury Avenue, Ocean City, NJ 08226.
