Obituary for Connie Degrassi
Degrassi, Connie Turton, 71 of Egg Harbor Township, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of September 11, 2016 in Brigantine.
Born February 10, 1945 in Atlantic City, she was predeceased by her parents, Fredrick and Margaret (Peg) Turton; her brother, Frederick Turton; her sister, Teresa Turton; and the love of her life, Ralph Wade, who passed in April of this year.
Connie is survived by her sister, Peggy Bruno of Galloway; her daughters, Rene deGrassi, Danielle Rosen, and Erica Gresham; her son, John Smith; six grandchildren: Amber, Freddie, Owen, Emily, Aubrey, and Blake; and seven step-grandchildren: Jimmy, Jennifer, Becky, Max, Rachel, Nick, and Evan; as well as her beautiful persian cat, Furio.
She loved her family wholeheartedly and selflessly. She will be sorely missed by all.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 17th at 11:00am at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. Please feel free to wear something purple in Connie's honor, as that was her favorite color.
