McCabe, Harvey Charles, 83 of Northfield, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2017.

Son of the late Howard and Tillie McCabe, Harvey was born on October 23, 1933 in Atlantic City, lived most of his life in Margate, and graduated from Atlantic City High School. Harvey was a lifeguard during his teen years and part owner of the Atlantic City Bulletin. He also worked for the Philadelphia Inquirer and Trump Plaza.

He is survived by his children, Shawn McCabe (April), Peggy Smith (David), and Mark McCabe (Teresa); his grandchildren: Brandon and Desiree McCabe, David, Jessica, and Christian Smith, and Steven, Nicole, and Michael McCabe; and his four great grandchildren. Harvey was preceded in death by his son, Daniel J. McCabe; and his brother, Edward McCabe.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 10th at 1:00pm at Seaside Cemetery, 559 Rt. US 9, Marmora, NJ 08223.
