Obituary for Frankie Lamar Williams

Frankie Lamar Williams
On December 5, 2016, Trooper Frankie Lamar Williams died in the line of duty. He is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly (née Narvaez), mother Victoria Linette Williams, her fiancé Victor Jenkins, and father Robert Mower. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Frank and Mamie Hinton. He was the beloved son-in-law of Maribel and Roberto Narvaez and brother-in-law of Ryan Narvaez, and nephew of Sheila Hayes, Doris Johnson, Donald Hinton, Joyce Mower, and Keith Hayes. He is survived also by cousins Keith Hayes II and Daryl Johnson and by best friend and brother Derrick Bennett. He leaves many additional loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Frankie was 31. He was born in Atlantic City and grew up in Lakeland, Florida. He graduated from George Jenkins High School in Lakeland in 2003 before moving to Egg Harbor Township. He completed his associate's degree from Atlantic Cape Community College and his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Rutgers University. He enjoyed soccer and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys.

Frankie worked at Lowe's of Egg Harbor Township for seven years and considered his coworkers to be a special family. Frankie found his life's calling in his duties as a state trooper and was passionate about his work and dedicated to the people and to the communities he served. He was a proud member of the 156th New Jersey State Police Class and Frankie's classmates became his brothers over the course of his time at his police academy training - and a very special close-knit group attended his recent wedding. He was stationed at Woodstown Barracks and recently transferred to Port Norris within Troop A. He spoke highly of his coach, Michael Korejko, with whom he was partnered at his first assigned station in Woodstown.

He enjoyed music and loved a good story - and always had a ready joke or tale of his own adventures to share. He cherished time with family and loved ones, and made friends wherever he went. Frankie embraced life and shared this joie de vivre with all those around him. A dog lover, Frankie adored his two "nuggets", Charlie and Peanut. He was a doting and devoted husband to his high school sweetheart, Kim, in whom he found a true partner. He will be loved, missed, and remembered by many.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 12th from 8am-12pm at Boardwalk Hall, 2301 Boardwalk, Atlantic City, NJ 08401 where a funeral service will begin at 12pm. Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Mays Landing.

Donations may be made in Frankie Williams memory to Survivors of the Triangle, 800 Denow Rd, Suite C #385, Pennington, NJ 08534 or to the Fusion Church, 701 New Hampshire Ave, Somers Point, NJ 08244.
