Obituary for William J. Naylor Jr.

Naylor, William J., Jr. - 78 of Egg Harbor Township, passed away on December 8, 2016 at home surrounded by his family.

Born in Philadelphia, PA and a resident of Egg Harbor Township since 1950, he graduated from Pleasantville High School, served his country in Germany and was honorably Discharged. He was employed by Acme Markets for 45 years until his retirement.

He was predeceased by his parents, William and Ruth Naylor; and his brother, Walter Naylor. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth A. Naylor (nee Somers); two sons, Mark W. (Karen) of Virginia and James Matthew (Tammy) of Egg Harbor Township; grandson, Ryan; sister and brother in law Jane and Charles Sear; brother in law David Somers; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

A special thank you to Dr. William Hooper, doctor and friend and his staff, Shore Medical Center staff and also to Holy Redeemer Hospice and Home Care staff who made him comfortable.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 14th from 6-8pm and again on Thursday, December 15th from 10-11am at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery, Egg Harbor Township.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Atlantic City Rescue Mission, 2009 Bacharach Boulevard, Atlantic City, NJ 08401, or to Holy Redeemer Home Care Hospice, 6550 Delilah Rd, Suite #501, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234.
