Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Frederic Elsworth can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Frederic P  Elsworth
Frederic Paul Elsworth, 74, of Northfield, New Jersey passed away with his family by his side on December 20, 2016.

Frederic is survived by his wife Joan (Hamilton) of 50 years; daughter Kristen Elsworth-Polak, (Dan); son A. Paul (Elena); grandson, Jonah; and grand dog, Bandit. He is also survived by his brother, Richard (Laura) and sister in law Lenore. He was predeceased by his parents Alan and Edna (Watson) Elsworth; and brother, Alan. Fred was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to all.

Fred worked for Gerber Products Company for 32 years. He enjoyed cruising with his wife, family and friends. He loved taking his grandson to Inner Harbor, Baltimore every summer. He loved caring for and walking his grand dog. He enjoyed playing golf with his church buddies. Fred was loved by all the neighborhood kids when he first moved to Northfield. He was the “big kid” of Shepherd Circle who always was available for a game of stick ball or ping pong. He was also in the Army National Guard.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Central United Methodist Church, Linwood, NJ with visitation from 10:00 -11:00am with a service from beginning at 11am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Central United Methodist Church- Steeple Refurbishing Campaign or “The Son Club after school program at the Ocean City Tabernacle.
