Obituary for Debra Ann Kendrick

Debra Ann  Kendrick
Debra Ann Kendrick (affectionately known as Debbie or De De), age 50 of Northfield, NJ was called home
to be with our Land and Savior on Friday, February 17th 2017. Debra was born in Roanoke, VA to Jean
Beatty and Theron Kendrick on April 15, 1966 where she attended grammar school.
After her mother relocated to New Jersey, Debra went through the Egg Harbor Twp. school system
where she eventually graduated from the High School. After graduating high school Debra entered the
work world and ultimately became a security officer for Boardwalk Hall Convention Center in Atlantic
City, NJ for several years.
Debbie most recent place of employment was located in Baltimore, Maryland where she became a
Maintenance Technician for the Baltimore Washington International Airport. She was employed by BWI
for a couple of years until she moved back to New Jersey.
Debbie was an affectionate and devoted mother whom loved to spend time with her children and
grandchildren. They were her life. She was always understanding and forgiving of anyone whom she
encountered. She was someone you could always talk to. Whenever you’d ask for her opinion, you
knew that she would tell you the honest truth-good or bad. She loved to laugh and have a great time
with all of her friends and family. Debra enjoyed attending the House of Prayer Church located in
Pleasantville, NJ where she was a member for several years. She was a very spiritual woman whom
everyone loved.
She is preceded in death by her father Theron Kendrick and her loving son Jabbarr Tolbert whom she
cared for until his last days. She is survived by her daughters Tamika Kendrick, Ashley Kendrick &
Monique Tolbert. Mother: Jean Beatty and Sisters April Kendrick, Tititia Kendrick-Plummer, Nicole Fields
& Patricia Crocker. Brothers: Rhundy Kendrick and Robert Crocker. Grandchildren: Promize & Levar
Smith Jr., Makiaiya & Rasheem Rose III. She was a great daughter, sister and mother. She will be greatly
missed.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday February 24, 2017 the Lincoln Memorial Park
located at 5087 Route 40, Mays landing, NJ 08330. Respectfully, the Family elects to have a private
repast. Flowers and cards can be sent to 1111 West Mill Rd. Northfield, NJ 08225.
Arrangements under the direction of Adams Perfect Funeral Home located at 1650 New Rd., Northfield,
NJ 08225.
