Obituary for Robert G. Costello
Costello, Robert Gary 68 of Somers Point passed away on Sunday, April 23 at Shore Medical Center.
Robert was born on June29, 1948 in Atlantic City and was an area resident all of his life. He served during the Vietnam War from 1967-1969 in the United States Marine Corp. Robert worked in the liquor Industries for 45 years with Gateway, J&J, and Fedway.
Robert will always be remembered for his love of life. He loved spending time with his friends and family.
He is predeceased by his parents; Dottie and Harry Hunt
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 48 years; Gail Costello, his daughter, Tara (Brian) Booth, and Robert Costello, his grandchildren; Skylor, Rileigh, Robert and Sydney, his sisters; Barbara (Stan) Bergman, Sharon Cohen, Donna (Guy) Corrado, and Terri Hunt, his sister-in-law, Diana Mastrogiovanni, his brother-in-law, Dennis (Theresa) Brown, and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
A Gathering with the family will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 9:30am til 11am at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home 1650 New Rd. Northfield, NJ, A Memorial Service will follow at 11am. Burial with Military Honors will be held at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's memory to the Alzheimers Association (Atlantic County Branch) 25 Dolphin Avenue, Building D Ground Floor, Northfield, NJ 08225.
We would like to thank the staff at Meadowview Nursing Home and all the friends and family who supported us during the long goodbye.
