Obituary for Wesley Owen Evans Sr.

Print
Wesley O. Evans, 64, of Seaville, NJ, went to be with the Lord, on April 26, 2017 following a massive heart attack. Born in Fort Worth Texas on April 26, 1953 to Natalie and Lowell Evans, he was the eldest of seven children.

Wes was a people-person with a tale to tell everyone. His people-skills allowed him to be successful for over 20 years in the banking industry. His career in banking rewarded him with a satisfaction of a job well done and bestowed upon him many accolades and awards.
In 1987, his brother-in-law David Andrews and his father-in-law Thomas Crane built a partnership in owning and operating Foreverpure Water Conditioning Company in Upper Township, New Jersey. With the love and support of his wife Sharon (Crane) Evans, they took sole ownership of the company and worked side-by-side as members of the Upper Township Business Association.

Wes loved a hearty laugh or a joke and a smile with anyone he met. He especially enjoyed a nap with his dog, Jasper. He liked to travel and attend family outings or church functions. Wes provided many services to the church and his church family were near and dear to his heart. His favorite time away from home was vacationing in Bar Harbor, Maine with his family and spending time with best-friend, "Sally".

Wes was predeceased by his parents, Natalie and Lowell Evans, his in-laws Jane and Thomas Crane, his brother and sister-in-law, Nancy and David Andrews and four of his siblings Leslie, Janelle, Timothy and Amy.

Wes is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sharon, his beloved children Shannon Evans of Williamstown, New Jersey and Christopher Evans of Dennis Township, New Jersey, his brothers Tommy (Patricia) of Northfield and Arthur of Pomona, NJ and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 6 until 8pm at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road in Northfield. A second viewing will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 10 until 11am at Central United Methodist Church, 5 Marvin Avenue in Linwood, where a service will follow at 11am, under the direction of Pastor Ron Watts, Pastor Harvey Van Skyver and Pastor Wil Wilson. Burial will take place at Laurel Memorial Park Cemetery in Pomona.

In lieu of flowers in Wesley's memory the family suggests that donations can be made to Central United Methodist Church or the American Heart Association.
