Hone, Robert L. (Uncle “Bob” & Poppie), - 88, of Northfield passed away on May 5, 2017. He was born in Absecon, NJ to the late Edward and Helen Hone. He is survived by his loving wife, Hughina (nae Skirving), daughter Kimberly, son-in-law Michael, step-children Alan and Grace, two grandchildren Amanda and Kyle, great-granddaughter Mylee and numerous nieces and nephews. He served his country for 23 years as a Technical Sergeant in the United States Air Force and retired from the Air Force in 1969. His oversees tours included Japan, Panama Canal Zone, Turkey and France. For 20 years he was the General Foreman of the Spencer Gifts Warehouse, Mail Order Division located in West Atlantic City, NJ. Viewing will take place on Wednesday, May 10th from 9am to 11am with service to follow at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home 1650 New Road Northfield, NJ 08225. Robert will be buried at the Atllantic County Veterans Cemetery located in Estell Manor following the service.
