Jauregui, Matilde, 92, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017 in her home in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.

Born on March 14, 1925 in Apurimac, Peru to Andrea and Alejandro Salcedo. She was a
devoted Catholic with a loving heart. She married Julian Jauregui and together had five daughters and two sons. Matilde was known for her kind heart and contagious laughter. Matilde was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s but never forgot her children, even in her most confusing moments, she remembered each of her children’s names.

Matilde touched many peoples’ hearts throughout her 92 years of life; friends and families.

Matilde fue muy creyente de la religion Catolica y transmitio el amor y el respeto hacia los demas, con su personalidad que le caracterizaba por monstrar su alegria mediante el canto y el baile.

Matilde is survived by her children- Olga Venegas, Rita Jauregui; Sabina Jauregui; Julio Jauregui; Cirilo Jauregui; Paulina Jauregui; Maria Jauregui; Catalina Jauregui. Grandchildren- Jason; Marisol; Jordy; Donny, Susan, Giovanni, Jesus, Jessica, Karen, Maria Isabel, Christian, Katherine, Jesus David, Stephanie, Andrea, Axl, Orlando, Michael, Melanie, Julio, Camila. Great-Grandchilden-Caroline, Melissa, Kylie, Asami, Sebastian, Alaia, Kaylen Matilde, Sebastian Juan.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 5th at 11:00am at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. A viewing will be held from 10:00am until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.
