Condolences

Condolence From: Ginny Heim
Condolence: "Strocky" you were one in a million!
I would walk into work in the morning at the English Creek office and you and the "guys" would be sharing a smoke outside telling stories about the whale you caught fishing or who you were sending out to the next site for deployment. You made work seem like it was fun even if we put in a ton of overtime. You were dedicated to your family and always spoke fondly of Doris. I will never forget the time I was testing hardware that was deployed at the Miami Center (1998) and you invited us to go fishing with you and your son, then have dinner with your family. I day I will never forget and yes we caught some nice fish! You always had a great joke or would tease us "kids" as you would call us. Your memories will live on... Rest in Peace Strocky. Sending prayers to the family as I know you will be missed greatly.

Condolence: I got to know Dick when I was a TAG Manager on the Region 4 Technical Support Staff. He always had a great sense of humor and was very competent at his job. One day we were talking over coffee and Dick asked me "what do you want to be when you grow up?" I told him I wanted to be a "Pip" and be back up singer for Gladys Knight. I could wear a sequined Tuxedo and do the shuffle moves while admiring Gladys from the rear. He never let me forget that and we would crack up just looking at each other. Of course I would sing "Midnight Train to Georgia!" It was my honor and privilege to have known him and our friendship. Rest in peace Strockie!
