Edward W.  Guerro
Guerro, Edward W., 91 of Linwood, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Cooper Hospital, surrounded by his family.

He was born September 15, 1925 in Pleasantville to the late William, Sr. and Elizabeth (nee Dwyer) Guerro. He was raised in Pleasantville and attended Pleasantville High School. On the onset of Pearl Harbor, at the age of 16, he enlisted in the US Navy, serving on the Tucker and the Montpelier. He worked at the FAA Technical Center for 45 years.

Ed enjoyed bowling, baseball, and gardening. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be deeply missed by his family.

He was predeceased by his stepmother, Lena Guerro; his sisters, Mary Fritsche and Josephine Hutton; his brothers, Joseph, William, Francis, and Harvey Guerro; and his parents.

Survived by his devoted wife of 66 years, Marie (nee Biddle); his loving daughters, Marie Boney (Jim), Elizabeth Ciarla Coover (Jim), Terri Lavine (Danny), Ruth Schwarz, and Michelle. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 12th, at 11:00am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 724 Maple Avenue, Linwood. A viewing will be held from 10:00am until the time of Mass. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.
