Simpkins, Margaret "Marge" 86 of Nesco, NJ passed away peacefully Tuesday 8/29/2017 at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center Atlantic City, NJ. She was a native of Mays Landing, NJ and lifelong resident of this area. Daughter of the late Harry Lewis and Margaret Peterson nee Caywood. She retired from NJ Bell after 35 years of service. She enjoyed traveling to different places and regular card games. She was a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts, a member of the Order of Eastern Star, and the NJ Pioneers and was deeply involved in Salem United Methodist Church and Pinelands United Methodist Church and was an active in the United Methodist Women. Proceeded in death by her late husband James H Simpkins, Sr. in 1989. Survived by her sons James H. Jr.(Amanda), Mark J., and Scott N. Simpkins; daughter Lori Ann Simpkins (Charles Krok); grandsons Derek J.(Ashley) and Jason P., great grandchildren Nora J and Emory B. A memorial service will be held on Friday September 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home 1650 new road Northfield, NJ 08225. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 until the time of the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow the service at Germania Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the www.Red Cross.org for Hurricane Harvey Relief in the people in Texas. Arrangements by and condolences at www.adams-perfect.com.
