Jassel, Katherine Leigh – 50, passed away on September 24, 2017. Katherine Leigh Jassel was born in San Bernardino, California on February 5, 1967 and died in Galloway, New Jersey on September 24, 2017.

She was predeceased by her father, Donal W. Jassel; and her brother, Richard J. Jassel. Left to mourn her loss and celebrate her life are her mother, Lucinda S. Jassel; her dear sister, Kristen L. Thomas; her beloved nieces and nephews, Heather L. Thomas, Sabrina R. Morris, Emily L. Girimont, Tiffany M. Jassel, Toni L. Jassel; her nephew, Richard D. Jassel; her great nephew, Declan J. Shipman and great niece Mackenzie J. Shipman.

Kathy started her career in health care at Linwood Convalescent Hospital where she advanced to administrative positions before her work was cut short by her illness and disability. Kathy loved people, from tiny babies to the very elderly. Because of her genuine concern for and interest in the lives of others, people loved her right back. She will be missed by all of us, and she will be remembered for her generosity of spirit and her never-ending kindness.

Services to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at St. Mark and All Saints Episcopal Church, 429 S. Pitney Road, Galloway, NJ 08205. Visitation will begin at 10:00am with a Mass to follow at 11:00am. Interment will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
