Obituary for Arthur R. Yorkman
Yorkman, Arthur Raymond, - (Artie) 76 left this life on Sunday, September 24, 2017. Born on January 9, 1941 in Atlantic City, NJ, he was the son of the late Arthur P. and Ruth B. Yorkman and late grandmother Laura A. Beale (Nana).
A graduate of Atlantic City High School, he was a devoted husband, brother, father and grandfather whose grandchildren loved their Pop-Pop.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Maureen C. Yorkman (Reenie), daughter, Laura A. Hopkins (Tiki), two grandchildren, Yasmin A. Swain and Aaron R. Hopkins, one sister, Dolores M. Ferrell (Loisy), three nieces, Cynthia M. Sexton, Una R. Ferrell-Godwin, Ursula R. Ferrell and one great niece, Dominique R. Godwin. In addition to his parents and grandmother, Arthur was preceded by his sister, Josephine M. Sexton.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home at 1650 New Road, Northfield NJ 08225 with visitation from 12 pm until 1 pm, services at 1 pm. Interment followed at Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery in Estell Manor, Mays Landing NJ.
Repast held at American Legion Hall at 232 Mill Road, Northfield NJ, 08225.
