Obituary for Albert G. Growalt

Al passed away peacefully at his home sometime October 3rd, 2017. Al lived out his life here in the Cape/Atlantic region. He was born in Camden and was one of 7 brothers, and 3 sisters. Al worked as a chef and a house painter for close to 30 years, in and around southern NJ. He was a die hard Eagles fan, and an avid Flyers fan. Unfortunately Al never got to see them win a ring, like the Flyers, 76ers, and Phillies. Al was at a time in his life where things were going the best he ever dreamed. Though Al was as stubborn as they come, he had a heart of gold and if he was needed, he was there. With tears in our eyes, we must say goodbye to a brother who will be sadly missed. Albert loved life to the fullest, with no words left unspoken. he loved his family and friends dearly. The space he's left in our hearts and in our lives will be filled with the memories of him being himself. We will miss him dearly. Rest In Peace my brother. He had over a dozen neices and nephews who knew and loved him like a brother. He is survived by brothers; Randy, Frankie, Michael, Ray, Anthony, and Richard as well as sisters; Christine and Catherine. Services will be held on Tuesday, October 10th, at 11am at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield, where friends may call from 10:30am until time of services. Burial will be private.
