Obituary for Matilda Joan Martin (Paxson)
Matilda Joan Martin, 78, of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Born in Philadelphia to the late LeRoy William and Julia Paxson. She loved gardening and enjoyed her beautiful roses. She also enjoyed taking pictures and was a devout Catholic.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Martin in Novemeber of 2012. Matilda is survived by her children, Matilda (John) Ingham, Adeline (Kurt) Olson, Diane (Michael) Russo, and Robert Berg; her grandchildren, Robert, Savanna, Alexis, Tara, Daniel, Kira, George, Adam, Matt, and Danielle; her great-grandson, Landon; her sister, Diane Shultz; and her niece, Donna Clayton.
A graveside service will be at 12 pm, on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Port Republic Cemetery, 118 Main Street, in Port Republic, NJ 08241.
