Cesar, Joyce Mary, 74, of Absecon, NJ was born in Paterson, NJ to the late Frank and Mary Yasaitis. She passed peacefully at home on February 2, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

She was predeceased by her husband, John “Jack”. Joyce is survived by her son, John Cesar of Absecon; her sister, Florence Flanagan and brother-in law Peter Flanagan of Galloway; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; two great-great nephews; and a great-great niece.

Earlier in her career, Joyce was a teacher in both Montville and Lakeland Regional High Schools in Wanaque. When she moved to Absecon over 40 years ago, Joyce worked for the Casino Commission in Atlantic City. She was a devoted parishioner at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church for 40 years and enjoyed volunteering on the bereavement committee, as well as pre Cana work.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 6th at 11:00am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 591 New Jersey Avenue, Absecon. A visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of Mass. Burial will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
