Condolence From: CSM [ret] Stanley C. Szymborski
Condolence: When John came into the 1st BN he fit right in. He was a excellent Artilleryman, a leader and instructor. I knew after working with him, that one day he was on the career track for CSM. As a friend we had many good times with him and his wife Lee. Although the list is long of the people I missed when I retired, John was in the top ten! John, you will be missed and never forgotten!

Condolence: To John's family, so sorry for your loss. Lee, your husband use to pick up my dad everyday to work his construction business I know you must remember, He fondly called my dad Bubba, he spent many many days at my parents house growing up, he was the one that actually coined the name for my father and loved him very much, my dad is going to be the hospital and can not pay his final respects to him which hurts very very much, they are very fond of each other. Now we go back to the beginning, Donna went to school with my sister Kathleen, Larry John and I all went to school together, grew up together. and George was a little too young when we were running around, but him and I also became friends when we got older and the little age gap no longer was there, I remember swimming in the pool, playing pool with the boys in the basement at the Humpreys' house. My thoughts and prays are with you all.
