Obituary for James T. Crescenzo

James T.  Crescenzo
Crescenzo, James T. - 95 of Egg Harbor Township, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 with his family by his side.

Born in Hammonton to the late Thomas and Pauline Crescenzo, he was raised in Egg Harbor City. James served in the US Army Air Corps during World War II. He has been retired from the US Post Office in Northfield for 32 years, where he worked as a postal carrier. He was a volunteer fireman in South Egg Harbor, where he owned Kustard Korner with his wife, Lynn. James also owned Crescenzo's Esso in Egg Harbor City. Most recently, he enjoyed bingo at the township community center in Egg Harbor Township.

James was predeceased by his wife, Alyne "Lynn" (nee Zwernemann); his son, Ronald; his sisters, Maryanne Camey and Elizabeth Mathis; and his granddaughter, Jamie Crescenzo.

He is survived by his son, James and his wife Margaret; his brother, Thomas; daughter-in-law Barbara; grandchildren: Nancy Kulij (Jeff) of San Diego, and James of Egg Harbor Twp., Joe (Eva) of Orlando, and John Crescenzo of Kansas; and great grandchildren: Aidan, Deborah, and Luna.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 11:00am at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. A viewing will be held on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home, and again on Tuesday morning from 10:00am until the time of the service. Interment will be held in Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor.
