Obituary for Costas Siozopoulos

Costas Siozopoulos
Costas Siozopoulos, 90 of Northfield, New Jersey passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on the evening of February 21, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Agoria, his three children, Lisa Mitoulis (Chris), Sue Papadeas (Peter), Achilleas Siozopoulos (Maria), and three grandchildren Eleni, Dean, and Michael. He is also survived by his brother Aristidis Siozopoulos of Thesaloniki, Greece. Costas was born on April 17, 1927 in Dafni, Greece and came to the United States in 1957 where he worked in the restaurant business in Detroit with his brother and later with his brothers in law in Philadelphia and Atlantic City. Costas was a devoted member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Egg Harbor Twp. He was a tireless volunteer during the church’s Greek festivals, famous for his early arrivals and hard work. His funeral service will be at 12 noon on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church 7004 Ridge Avenue, Egg Harbor Twp, NJ. Viewing Saturday from 11-12 PM prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at Laurel Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church.
