Obituary for Richard DeCicco

Richard  DeCicco
DeCicco, Richard Robert, age 61 of Mays Landing, passed away on March 24, 2018.

Richard grew up in Absecon and was a 1975 graduate of Pleasantville High School. He also attended Stockton State College.

Richard was an avid animal lover, environmentalist, and a lover of the Pine Barrens. He enjoyed walking his two dogs, Aengus and Daisy, as often as possible. He also enjoyed long walks on the Ocean City Boardwalk. He worked at the Norwood Liquor Store in Atlantic City for many years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Doris and Neil, Sr.; Karen Porter, his devoted partner of 32 years; niece Wendy Shutter; Reggie Forbey; and recently, Lil Porter, Karen's mother.

He is survived by his sister, Rosalind DeCicco Watson; brothers Neil (Carolyn) and Gerard DeCicco. Also, his nephews, Brian Watson (Jamie), and Thomas Watson (Denver); nieces Cindy Reynolds (Sid), Jill Rude (Tim), and Shelly Morris; and Karen's father, Howard Porter.

Services will be held privately. Donations may be made in Richard's memory to Beacon Animal Rescue, 701 Butter Road, Oceanview, NJ 08230, or to an SPCA of your choice.
