Obituary for Margaret Edna Gaskill

Margaret Edna Gaskill
Gaskill, Margaret Edna (nee Bleazard), 74 of Egg Harbor Township, went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2018 after enduring a long, sickly winter, ending with heart failure.

Born and raised in Atlantic City, Margaret worked at Sears and Roebuck for 23 years, the last ten of which she was proud to be a service tech, fixing various things such as vacuum cleaners and sewing machines. She later worked for EHT schools as a custodian, cook, and teacher's aide. Margaret volunteered at Greentree Church and served lunches at Atlantic Christian School. She hosted many gatherings at her home - pool parties and then Bible studies - for many years, and also raised horses there for 20 years.

Margaret loved yard sales and tinkering to fix all sorts of things, then selling her found treasures on eBay for 13 years. She had a giving heart; if she knew that you had a need, she would look high and low to get it for you and she never sought the praise of people - just their happiness was enough.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but we know that we will see her again. Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Harry Gaskill; her parents, Henry and Doris Bleazard; her grandparents who raised her, Horrace and Edna Steelman; and three siblings, Debbie, Henry, and William Bleazard.

A loving mother, she is survived by her only child, Margie Lynn Rosso and her husband Ron; her grandchildren, Priscilla Phillips (nee Wolfenden) and her husband Carl, Jason Wolfenden and his wife Vicky, and Julia and Ronnie Rosso; and her great grandchildren, Carl, Luke, Seth, Selena, and Jason.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 4:00pm at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. A visitation will be held from 3:00pm until the time of the service. Interment will be held privately.
