Obituary for Fumi H Ditzel

Fumi H  Ditzel
Ditzel, Fumi Hashiguchi, age 89, peacefully passed away at home on October 1, 2014. Born in Amami Oshima, Japan, she was married for 52 years to career marine Stuart Ditzel, who predeceased her in 2010, and lived her last years in Egg Harbor Township, having moved there from the Toms River area.

Survivors include her three sons, Kazushiga Murata of Japan, George Ditzel and wife Dr. Patricia Gentile of Swampscott, Massachusetts, and Alfred Ditzel of Egg Harbor Township, NJ. She is also survived by granddaughter Brenda Riska and husband Guy Riska, and great-granddaughter, Kirsten Adamson of Linwood NJ, and four grandsons Christopher Owens and wife Jennifer (Virginia), Matthew Owens (Texas), William Owens (NJ), and Joseph Owens (NJ), along with six great-grandchildren. Fumi was preceded in death by her parents, sisters and brothers all of whom lived in Japan.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Monday, October 6, 2014, at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Rd, in Northfield. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, on Tuesday, at Graceland Memorial Park, Galloping Hill Rd. Kenilworth, NJ.
