Obituary for Donna Lynn Charleston

Charleston, Donna Lynn (nee Fenton), 63 of Egg Harbor Township, passed away December 1, 2014 at home after a lengthy illness, with her family and pets by her side.

She was a loving mother, who always wore a smile and loved meeting new people. She loved animals and rescued many pets during her life. She worked for Atlantic City Electric Company for over 25 years, and for McDonald's for over 10 years, and always considered her co-workers a part of her family. A member of the United Methodist Church her entire life, Donna devoted many hours to teaching Sunday School, helping at church events, and singing in the church choir.

Donna will be missed and is survived by her loving daughter, Amy Charleston; as well as her husband, John; her brother, Gary Fenton and his wife, Ginger; brother-in-law James Charleston; nephew Jeff Fenton, his wife, Mel and their two daughters; her niece, Sandy Myers and her husband, DJ; as well as a host of friends who were like family to her. She was predeceased by her mother, Zillah and her father, Harvey, and is now happily reunited with them in heaven.

A special thanks to everyone at AtlantiCare Hospice, Linwood Care Center, Physician's Choice Dialysis, and Shore Medical Center for all the wonderful care they gave Donna during her illness.

A service will be held on Friday, December 5th at 11:00am at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. A viewing will be held from 10:00am until the time of the service. Burial will be in Zion Methodist Cemetery, Egg Harbor Township.
