Obituary for Lorraine Mary Crispaldi

Lorraine Mary Crispaldi
Crispaldi, Lorraine M., 69, of Egg Harbor Twp, born on August 5, 1945 to the late Frank and Rose (nee Gattignola) Crispaldi, step-daughter of Joseph Loddo, Sr., the beloved sister of Rose Cecola (Joe), and brother Joseph Loddo, Jr. (Cheryl), niece of Mary Coppola, passed away on December 8, 2014.

She entered the Order of the Franciscan Nuns in 1963 (Sister Steven Mary) and taught at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and Annunciation Parochial Schools in Philadelphia, PA, for 10 years. In 1981, Lorraine began an illustrious casino career at Caesars Hotel Casino. Lorraine taught all the casino games and rose to the rank of pit manager, retiring in 2008.

Lorraine will be deeply missed by her faithful care-giver, companion, and kidney donor, Georgina Rogan, and her beloved and devoted life-long friend, Christine F. Damico.

Lorraine loved music and cherished by all who knew her. Her generous spirit and affectionate manner will be sorely missed by countless nieces, nephews, and friends. “Kiss today goodbye, and point me to tomorrow.”

A celebration of Lorraine’s life will be at 11 am, on Monday, December 15, 2014, at St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish, 1421 New Rd, in Northfield. A viewing will be from 9:30 am to 11 am, at the church, prior to Mass. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, in Mays Landing.
