Obituary for Despina Lianidis
Despina Lianidis-92 of Egg Harbor Township passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Despina was born in Kozani,( Eratira)Greece and emigrated to the United States in 1972. She lived in Upper Darby, PA where she worked as a seamstress. She relocated to Egg Harbor Township 10 years ago to be closer to her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished her moments with her family.
She is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Dimitrios, her sister, Vasiliki, and her brothers, Panagiotis, Eleftherios, and nephew,Yianni. She is survived by her son Stelios Lianidis (Maria), her grandchildren Dimitrios, Despina, and Fotini (Pete), and her siblings Thomai Konstantos, Agnes Petas, and Thomas Diamanty, as well as many nephews and nieces in both the United States and Greece.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Despina's viewing on Monday, March 2, 2015 from 10:00-11 AM at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 7004 Ridge Avenue, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234. (Mill Road and Ridge Ave) Funeral services will follow at the same location from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
