Harold William "Bill"  Gannon
Gannon, Harold “Bill”, 78, of Northfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Shore Medical Center with his loving family beside him.

Bill was predeceased by his parents Ray Gannon and Julia Palmer.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Dolores “Dee”; his sons William Gannon (Debbie), Mark Gannon (Jen), Brian Gannon (Sherry); daughters, Marlene Thrasher, Michelle Laielli (Joe) and step daughter Cathy Gearaci (Greg); brother, Ray Gannon (Ceil); sister, Virginia Kolb (Hans); 12 grandchildren, Jason, Kevin, Dawn, Melanie, Mark Jr., Laura, Jacob, Andrea, Ben, Brooke, Joey, and Justin; and 11 great grandchildren.

Bill honorably served in the US Marine Corp. He was a police officer with the Ocean City Police Department. He also had his own painting business for many years, and worked at the Casinos for 25 years. Bill was a Boy Scout leader for Troop 72, Northfield, for many years, where he mentored several Eagle Scouts.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 10 am to 11 am, on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Rd, in Northfield. A service will follow at 11 am. Burial will be private.
