Obituary for Dale M Snowden
Dale M. Snowden passed away peacefully June 15, 2015.
Dale is predeceased by her father Robert W. Harrington and parents-in-law Sarah Snowden and Nelson Snowden.
Dale is survived by her devoted husband of 36 years Nelson, loving children Nelson Snowden III (Melissa) of Somers Point, Krystal Snowden (Jeff) of New Castle, DE, Robert Snowden (Alexandra) of Egg Harbor Township, Caitlin Snowden (Chris) of Egg Harbor Township, Loving mother Doris "Monica" Harrington of Egg Harbor Township, Loving sisters Loreen Dunlap of Egg Harbor Township, Denene Draper of Egg Harbor Township, Barbara Carty (Tim) of Mays Landing, 10 beautiful grandchildren and awaiting number "11" beautiful baby girl in July and many nieces and nephews, cousins and host of other family.
Dale attended Stockton University for two years with a major in Criminal Justice and later studied at Votech to become a Licensed Practical Nurse and graduated with honors. She worked for Penn Cardiology and previously for Dr. Art Nahas and Dr. Sherman.
The family wishes to thank for their expert and compassionate care Cooper Hospital and its many physicians, nurses and staff.
Dale loved to sit on her front porch, sipping her coffee and watching her grandchildren play. Dale was an incredibly strong woman and a rock for her family. She will be sadly missed.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to The American Cancer Society.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015 from 6pm til 8pm and on Saturday, June 20th from 7am til 9am at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home 1650 New Rd. Northfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Saturday at St.Josephs RC Church Shore Road, Somers Point. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing, NJ.
