Obituary for Wayne Schromsky

Wayne  Schromsky
Schromsky, Wayne Bryan - 68, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away November 5, 2015 at home, surrounded by his family and friends. Born and raised in Atlantic City, Wayne was sworn in as an Atlantic City Police Officer in 1972. Wayne retired after serving as patrolman, motorcycle officer, detective and as a former president of PBA Local #24. After retiring, Wayne served as Administrator of the Atlantic City Police Federal Union for the past 20 years.

Wayne was most happy when spending time with his family. He enjoyed riding his bike on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, working in his yard, making Sunday pancakes, and planning family and friend vacations in Florida.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Nancy of 43 years, son Bryan (Sharon) of Fallston, Md.; daughter Karen of Philadelphia; brother Barry (Marie) of Smithville; sister-in-law Elizabeth Kruczkowski (Steve) of Pittsfield, Ma.; mother-in-law Rosemary Adams of Atlantic City, his beautiful granddaughters, Alexandra and Natalie, his beloved cousin, nieces and nephews.

Wayne was a very caring soul and a good friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, November 10th from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by a service at 10 a.m. at Adams- Perfect Funeral Homes, 1650 New Road, Northfield, NJ. Burial will follow at Laurel Memorial Park, Pomona, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Wayne’s memory may be made to the Special Olympics of Massachusetts in care of Adams- Perfect Funeral Homes.
