Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Eileen Bradley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Eileen,

You will be sorely missed. Every time we met you brought good will and love. No one cared more for their family than you. You always took on life in big bites. As a young woman you joined the Army and served your country well. I loved the pictures of you fixing those massive battle tanks that our soldiers would ride in if there was a war. Thirty five years ago not many young women did such things. You were bold and gutsy and our family so admired you for that.

You met your husband in the Army had three children whom you adored. You could never do enough for them. Up until the week you died you were helping them where you could.

You were quick to seize opportunities to better yourself and your family. You became a business woman opening and running two Dollar General Stores in Idaho. When you moved back East to be close to your Mom and Dad you went to school and prepared yourself to be a nurse. You were made for this caring profession. Few could take care of people and administer to the sick and needy like you.

When your dad passed he was not forgotten as you made regular visits to his final resting place at the Gen. Doyle Veterans Cemetery. Who would have thought that you, dear cousin, would come to rest in this same place so early in life.

By far your most regular visits were to your Mother’s home in Delaware. On the occasions that I was there, I loved to watch the banter between you and your mom. Each one of you trying to outdo the other with kindness. What a precious gift you shared.

Each of us who came to know you were also given a gift – your caring and love. It is something we will carry with us forever. While we will never again see your smile, nor hear your great laugh, know, dear Eileen, that during the rest of our time in this place called life, you will never be forgotten.

Condolence: Eileen was a very special nurse. I only knew her for 2 years since my father has been in the Veterans Home but she was always very nice to him and my family. She will be missed. RIP

Condolence: I hired Eileen at the Memorial Home. She was a loving,caring nurse and she put a smile on many faces. She loved to talk and her family were very important to her. When I was ill her phone call or kindness helped. God Bless You and your family as you travel safely home.
