Molly  Walton
Molly Walton, 91 (Born Malietta Jannelli) passed away peacefully Sunday November 15, 2015 at home surrounded by her three daughters.

She was born to Louisa and Anthony Jannelli, the youngest of their 12 children and last surviving child. Raised in the Ducktown neighborhood of Atlantic City, Molly attended St. Michael’s Church and school.

She raised her family in Pleasantville working at Lenox China for many years. She returned to Atlantic City and worked at James’ Salt Water Taffy on the Boardwalk. In retirement she moved to Margate, where she volunteered for various local charities, including Mary Help of Christians, and Barbara Altman’s Boardwalk Runners Club. Molly greatly enjoyed visits with her children and grandchildren and her friends and activities at the Ventnor Senior Center which she attended for over 12 years.

Molly is survived by her 3 daughters, Barbara Henry of Margate, Diane Stocker (Barry) of Charlotte, NC and Cathy Walton (Scott) of Birmingham, AL. She was blessed with 6 grandchildren: Kimberly Monroe (Joe), Kelly Powell (Sam), Thomas Stocker (Danielle), Lara Stocker, Abby Ciucias, Eddie Tratnack and 7 great-grandchildren along with numerous nephews and nieces.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday November 20, 11 am, at St Michael’s Church., 10 N. Mississippi Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ. Friends may call at 10 am for visitation at the church. Interment follows at Atlantic City Cemetery, Pleasantville.

Donations may be made in Molly’s memory to Friendly Seniors Club, 6500 Atlantic Ave, Ventnor City and Holy Redeemer Hospice, Egg Harbor Township. Arrangements by Adams-Perfect.
