Obituary for Clarence M. Conover Jr.

Conover, Clarence M. Jr. "Moose" - 84 of Galloway, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016 surrounded by his family.

Clarence served in the US Navy for four years before going to work for Seaview Country Club. He was also employed by Ireland Coffee & Tea Company for over 30 years, where he worked in many capacities. He loved sports, especially the Eagles and Flyers. He also enjoyed golfing, and fishing with his children.

He was predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Viola Conover; his brother, Milton Conover; and his son, James A. Conover, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy E. Conover; his children: Diane Conover Scheerle, Clarence M. Conover III "Corky" (Norma), and Gary L. Conover (Tawny); ten grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 11:00am at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. A visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Oceanville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Clarence to any Veterans Organization of your choice.
