Obituary for Edward W. Ayers
Ayers, Edward W., 56, of Somers Point, NJ passed away after battling metastasizing lung cancer on February 3, 2016. Edward was born in Brooklyn NY on May 12,1959 to Eileen McCarren and George W. Ayers. He attended G.W Hewlett High School.
Edward worked as a chef and enjoyed making stained glass. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Edward is survived by his wife Jean Ayers, daughter Melissa Snowden and her husband Nelson H. Snowden III; grandchildren, Connor Snowden, Julia Snowden, Isabella Snowden; and brothers, Mark and George Ayers. He was predeceased by his mother Eileen VonDolln and his father George W. Ayers.
Cremation will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations may be made in Edward's name to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22478
Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
