Hagerty, Kathleen S. - 52 of Northfield, passed away at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Atlantic City, on April 24th 2016.

Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and a longtime resident of Somerset County, New Jersey, she has been a resident of Northfield, for the past 18 years. She received her Nursing License from Somerset County Vocational School and worked as a nurse at the Eastern Star Home in Finderne, New Jersey.

She was predeceased by her father, Donald P. Hagerty; her mother, Doris S. Hagerty; her brother, Donald P. Hagerty Jr.; and her niece, Erin E. Hagerty.

She is survived by her partner, Jean Betty Wambold (nee Larned); her sons, Jens M. Hagerty (Lisa M. Hagerty), and Nicholas Hagerty; and her daughter, Courtney Virga. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Ashlei, Jamie, Abigail, Elijah, Alexa, and Angelo; her sister, Amy Kropinack (Michael); and many nieces and nephews.

Kathie loved music, especially Rod Stewart and Bret Michaels. She enjoyed playing games and connecting with friends on Facebook. She enjoyed drawing, coloring, and creating projects. Most of all, Kathie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 29th at 5:00pm at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. A viewing will be held from 4:00pm until the time of the service. Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
