Essington, Theresa M., 70 of Mays Landing, passed away on November 11, 2016.

Born in Atlantic City, she was an area resident all her life. She was a day one employee at Resorts International Casino in the Camelot Restaurant, where she was a captain in the dining room and met many famous people. Theresa continued to work in the restaurant industry for many years, and was lastly employed by Strike Force at Boardwalk Hall.

She loved going to the casino and socializing, was a friend and "handy-man" to all, and will be greatly missed.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jay Essington; and her mother, Margaret Drake.

Theresa is survived by her daughter, Diane Palmentieri-Tolson (Dennis); her son, Mario Palmentieri (Jennifer); her step-daughter, Tammy DeFelice (Chet); her step-son, Michael Essington (Dorothy); her grandchildren: Jessica Kirby (Josh), Carl Rando III (Alexa), Noah and Hope Palmentieri, Tricia DeFelice, and Lars, Jonas and Torsten Essington; and her great grandchildren: Cayla, Madison and Breanna Kirby.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 11:00am at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. A visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of the service. Interment will be held in Laurel Memorial Park, Pomona.
