Ney, Joanne - 59 of Pleasantville, passed away suddenly on February 17th.

Joanne spent her career in retail management. She will be missed by her many friends and family for her generous and loving ways.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin, Jr. and Rita Ney; and her brother, Martin Ney, III. She is survived by her brother, James Ney (Marie); and sisters Carol Hickman (William), Nancy Ney, and Terri Beckner (James); and many nieces and nephews who adored her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 10:30am at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 606 Shore Road, Somers Point. A visitation will be held from 9:30am until the time of Mass. Interment will be held privately in Laurel Memorial Park, Pomona.

Donations may be made to the Ocean City Humane Society or the Breast Cancer Foundation in lieu of flowers.
