Obituary for James A. Clark Jr.
CLARK, JAMES A., JR, - 89 of Northfield, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2017 at Shore Memorial Hospital with his son Jim by his side. He was the son of James A. Clark, Sr and Elizabeth Gorman Clark. Jim was predeceased by his wife, Jacqueline Hannum Clark and his grandson, James A. Clark III. Jim was the father of two sons, James J. Clark (Donna) of Northfield, with whom he resided, and John P. Clark of Runnemede. His beloved granddaughter, Jennifer Gros (Sean) of Absecon. He was the great-grandfather to James J. Clark II ”JJ” and Easton P. Gros.
Jim was born in Northfield on July 12, 1927 and was the oldest of seven siblings: Ann Wigglesworth, Joan Tilley, Mary Smith, Polly Walton, Thomas Clark and Pete Clark.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, March 17, 2017 at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. A viewing will be held from 10:00am until 11:00am with services following at 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Laurel Memorial Park, Pomona.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Crossroads Fellowship Church, 101 N. First St, Pleasantville, NJ 08232. Jim looked forward to going to church every Sunday morning. He LOVED the church and always said it felt like home.
We love you DAD and POPPOP. RIP.
