Obituary for William Vaino

William Vaino
William Francis Vaino (“Bill, Sr.”) - 78, of Northfield, NJ, passed peacefully on July 1, 2017, surrounded by his beloved family after a long illness. Long story short (Bill’s favorite quote), he was born to Antonio and Rebecca Vaino in December, 1938, in Cardiff, NJ. Bill grew up in Atlantic City, but later settled in Northfield, where he shared a home with his endearing wife, Cathy, for 42 years. A skilled and expert craftsman, Bill and his son owned and operated Vaino Woodworking until retirement. Bill Sr. has touched the lives of so many people and homes through his personality, wit, stories, sense of humor, and beautifully crafted furniture pieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Rebecca Vaino, brothers Randy, Marty, Ernie, and Tony; sisters, Sue, Mary, and Becky. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Catherine Girard Vaino; sister, Louise; daughter, Debra Jo Faison; son, William F. Vaino, Jr., and fiancé Stacie Mosca, who will forever miss his spunk and humor. His grandchildren, Jennifer Vaino Harvey and her husband Cory; Jennifer Faison-Edwards and her husband Saint Paul; Nicole Faison-Davis and her husband Douglas, along with great grand-children Jayla, Saint IV, Noah, Nicholas, Raegan, and Brazen will no doubt continue to learn of him through innumerable stories known by so many. Bill’s story has ended. Our family invites you to attend a service at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home 1650 New Road, Northfield, New Jersey 08225 on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., and Thursday, July 6, 2017, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM.
