Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dorothy Quigley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Dorothy T. Quigley (Dottie), 91 of Pleasantville, NJ passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday evening, August 6, 2017. Dottie graduated Pleasantville High School in 1944 and began working for Bell Telephone Company where she met her late husband Edward. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and had been actively involved in her church, the United Methodist Church of Absecon. She enjoyed lunches with her Pioneer Bell Retirement group, Bible Study with her church group and square dancing with friends, where she earned the name "Doe C Doe Dot". She was always on the go and will be sadly missed. Dottie is survived by her 4 children, Ed (Marge), John (Kathy), Maureen and Danny (Debbie) as well as her 11 grandchildren, John, EJ, Dan, Courtney, Matthew, Nick, Chrissy, Patrick, Stephen, Brendan and Bryanna, her 8 great-grandchildren, EJ, Luke, Cole, Eva, Dakoda, Jayda, Malia, and Bodhi and her brother Tom (Lori) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greeted in heaven by her husband Ed, her mother Elsie, her sister Elsie and her son in law Danny Mack. A service will be held at Absecon United Methodist Church 100 Pitney Road Absecon, NJ 08201 at 12:00 PM on Friday Aug. 11, 2017. A visitation will be held prior to the service at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing, NJ.
