Margie  Terrence
Margie E. Terrence age 96, of Stockbridge, GA passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017.
She was born on October 17, 1920 to her parents; Abe and Rachel Harmon who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are her five brothers; Roland, John, Farrell, Leeandrew, and Theodore, her two sisters; Aleda and Dorothy.
Margie retired as a kindergarten teacher from the Pleasantville School District. She was also an active Sunday School Teacher and a Volunteer Teacher for the Literacy Program. Margie dedicated her life to educating children and her great faith at her church. She was very active in the Salem United Methodist Church; Methodist Women Southeast District, Southern New Jersey Conference, Upper Atlantic Regional School of Mission Administrative Council, Member to the Annual Conference of Atlantic County Retired Educators. She was also a life member of; the New Jersey Retired Educators & National Retired Educators, twenty-five plus years with the PTA, New York- New Jersey Chapter Bowie State University Alumni.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard D. Terrence, Sr.
She is survived by three daughters; Marie Bunch-Scott (Charlie) of Philadelphia, PA, Brenda Price-Dickerson (Leroy) of Rosenberg, TX, and Belinda Williams (Jack) of Jonesboro, GA, her son, Bernard D. Terrence II (Janet) of Pleasantville, NJ, Twelve Grandchildren and Thirteen Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 10am til 11am at the Salem United Methodist Church 815 S. Main Street, Pleasantville. A Funeral Service will follow at 11am. Burial will be held at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor, NJ
