Obituary for David Eugene Hinkley Jr.

David Eugene Hinkley Jr.
Hinkley, David E., Jr., 52, of Somers Point, formerly of Delaware, died suddenly on October 19, 2017. He was born on February 12, 1965. He was predeceased by his father David Hinkley. Dave is survived by his son David E. Hinkley, III; his parents, Eileen and Jerry Titherington; sisters, Christine Hinkley, Kelly (Jon) Ping, Michelle VanDaley; brother, Jerry (Stephanie) Titherington; and Otis, his faithful companion. Dave had special bonds with his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Dave's love of music spanned his lifetime. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and he sure could sling a pizza! His amazing sense of humor touched everyone. With the help of his friend and sponsor, Byron Savage, he was able to help others. Dave will be forever in our hearts and will be deeply missed. Rest in Peace now.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 2 pm to 3 pm, on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Rd, in Northfield. A memorial service will follow at 3 pm. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
