The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Linda Bocelli can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Meeting Linda Murphy before being a Bocelli

I met Linda on my first day at Atlantic City Electric Company, June 1, 1964.  I was hired as the Mail Girl in the Main Office.  On my first round of mail delivery I was introduced to Linda.  She worked in Tom Stone's office with the Residential/Commercial Reps.  I was informed this was Linda's last week working for ACE as she was being married to Mike Bocelli, who was in the Military, and Linda was going with him.  On Friday a Wedding Shower Luncheon was planned.  I was carrying the gift card around the building for anyone to sign and make a monetary gift that would be given in the form of a "Money Tree".  I was told if I signed the card and put 50 cents in the envelope I could attend.  Remember, it was 1964.  I did both and wished Linda well in her married life to Mike.  Many years later Linda returned to ACE to work and we began a friendship that has lasted many, many years.  With LInda and Donna Mindish, Lois Huggard and Noreen Clark we made up the Birthday Group and enjoyed many dinners together in local restaurants.  I will miss Linda a lot and will keep Mike and her family in my prayers.  Judy Orr
