Susan Mae Tubman (nee Brewin) – age 72, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away peacefully at home November 30, 2017, surrounded by love and family. Susan was born May 24, 1945 in Atlantic City and grew up in Northfield. She Graduated from Mainland Regional High School and Wesley College. Susan loved music. Not only was she an amazing piano player, she could instantly play any instrument handed to her. She was a lifelong member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church where she was the Organist and Music Director for 50 years. She enjoyed reading, gardening, going to the beach and spending time creatively by knitting, quilting, painting and so much more. Susan always dropped whatever she was doing to help everyone. She will be greatly missed. Susan is predeceased by her parents, Reverend Morris and Edna Brewin. She is survived by her husband of 51 years: Barney, daughters: Wendy (Craig) Garwood, Jennifer (Chris) Sacco and Amanda Griffith, grandchildren: Ciara, Brinsley, Jakob, Kyle, Lauren and Jase, who she loved with all her heart. A funeral service will be held on Friday Dec. 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church 207 Northfield Avenue Northfield, NJ 08225. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 - 11:00 AM on Friday at the church. Interment will be held at Laurel Memorial Park Cemetery, Pomona.
