Great Friend and Neighbor

I have been the neighbor of Mia and George for almost ten years. He was truely a gentleman and a the best of neighbors. We kind of had a lawn war in terms of who mows their lawn more and whose lawn is greener. George had a way with landscaping and exhibited his green thumb by caring so much for his property and his flowers and shrubs. He was my resource on what to feed this shrub or tree, and whatever. His caring for people went way beyond his caring for his property. We are on vacation and are unable to attend the services today and tomorrow but we offer our sympathy to Mia and their family. I just cant believe that my lawn buddy will not be mowing this spring. He was a true gentleman and friend. I happened to be one of the unlucky ones that got the flu twice in January. When the snow was piled higher than my wifes head and I was laid up in the house, it was George and his snowblower that was outside my window cleaning off my driveway so my wife could get out of the driveway if my illness got worse. I learned more about wines from George than anyone so I raise my glass to one of the classiest, nicest persons I have ever known in this world.
