Obituary for Oliver C. Cotman

Oliver C.  Cotman
Oliver Cotman, 89, (Oli) of Pleasantville, passed away on April 15, left this life and went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

He was born in Charles City, VA in 1928. Oliver served in the military doing the Korean War in 1955. He also worked at the NJ inspection and owned his own businesses.

He was predeceased by his parents, Scott and Lillian Jones Cotman and his daughter Olivia Cotman. Leaving to cherish his memory is his wife Priscilla Cotman of Pleasantville, his son Calvin McClendon and his wife Cynthia of EHT, two granddaughters, Cynthia (Boo)and Miranda; two great granddaughters, Naveen and Alayia; his brother Charles Jones from Plainfield, NJ.; first cousins, Albert Ghee from VA, Daniel and Brenda Percy from EHT and a host of family and friends.

He also leaves his love his dog “Silver” behind to cherish his memory.


A going home service for Oliver, will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Adams Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield, viewing is from 9-11 a.m., service starts at 11 a.m. Burial site is located at the Atlantic County Veteran’s Cemetery, Estell Manor Park, 109 Boulevard Rt. 50, Mays Landing. Immediately following the burial, a repast for family and friends will take place at the VFW located at 1209 Route 50, Mays Landing.
